They love the map!!  Maybe it has something to do with watch Dora the Explorer when they were younger… “I’m the map, I’m the map….”

Goat’s eyes have slits instead of round irises…so that they have a huge peripheral vision, nearly 360 degree.

Antebellum house…I am impressed with the houses and buildings that the park service has brought to Stone Mountain and preserved.  The girls loved them too!

Train…kinda boring..but the girls said that it was their favorite (?).

Random…this is the mother’s day breakfast in bed that the girls fixed for me all by themselves.  I love that they put the milk in this tiger cup they got from the circus…they really had to dig this cup out of the cabinets :-)

Doug’s Graduation and Pinning Ceremony

Doug finally finished school. Now just has to pass the NCLEX, which I know he will do fine on.

Below are Laura Lea and Lorenzo Alonzo and Larry Alonzo. They are an amazing family that inspire us.  Larry is a Nurse Practitioner at the CDC and it was an HONOR to have him pin Doug!

Doug was choosen to do introductions along with one of his fellow students.

During the ceremony the graduates all got to give roses to their loved ones and the ones who supported all of their hard work (also an apology for all the times they could not be with the family.)  Most of Doug’s fellow students have husbands, wives and kids.  Not too many dry eyes in the building.

Mother’s and Father’s Day at School

This first picture is with Scott Gillis of Creation Ministry Int.  His presentations were great.  We had lots of wonderful discussions in class that week.

Father’s Day Celebration at the school.  We had Lowes and do a Build N Grow project with us.  They built little terariums.

For mother’s day we asked the mom’s to come without make –up and let their kids do a “make-over” on them.
